1] On the standby screen (so called' Activity menu') in Flip closed mode press the more button and select Status from the menu to view free RAM.

2] When in standby screen hold down the left side back button it will lock/unlock your keypad.

3] To enable an LED flash in video capture mode, first enable the flash in picture mode, hold the shutter button halfway and then turn the jog-dial to switch to video mode.

4] Pressing and holding the right soft key where it always say 'More'" will trigger the built-in Task manager.

5] Anywhere in the UI, if you are lost, pressing and holding the 'back button' will bring you straight to the standby screen.

6] Press and hold any number in standby screen to launch the built-in contact application will open and the first name with the letter M at the beginning will be highlighted.

7] Disable handwriting recognition for a snappier interface in UIQ devices.

8] To activate your speakerphone with flip closed just press the middle button on the direction pad twice when your phone call has been picked up.

9] Go to the Control Panel> Connections> Internet Accounts > Other and change preferred mode to GSM only to increase battery life.

10] If you ever find your icons (apps residing in memory stick) missing all of a sudden, don't reset the phone; simply reload your memory stick.

11] During a call, pressing the 'C' key will mute/unmute the call.

12] It is possible to customize the icons and the shortcuts in standby mode. Mark the icon you want to change, choose more and then replace. Browse to the application you want to replace the previous one with.

13] You can change the track in the media player when you are in the minimized (and locked) mode by keeping the volume button pressed either down or up for a second-it will change track instead of volume.
